Prompt for June 27, 2015

Complete the short story/flash fiction, that has the following first paragraph:

The bright red lipstick was in sharp contrast to her pale skin, but it matched her hair colour, as artificial as it was. Her blue eyes – had she forgot her contacts? – stood out in sharp contrast to the heavy mascara and eyeliner that she used. She had only been at the school for less than a week before the Halloween dance and she didn’t know many people. Like me. I gathered my nerve and walked over to her, confident that disguised as a mummy she wouldn’t be able to tell who I was. “Would you like to dance, Ms. Haverstock? Even teachers are allowed to dance.”
