Prompt for November 29, 2015

Complete the short story/flash fiction, that has the following first paragraph:

As a virus, it was nothing fancy, a simple sequence of proteins that, when placed into host cells had a tendency of mimicking the common cold. Every so often a mutation would arise and the host would contract pneumonia or some other respiratory illness. Usually not fatal, but not benign, the virus had existed for thousands of years, jumping from host to host, unable to be completely eradicated regardless of the circumstances. And then it found it’s way into the body of Bobby Farents, host of The Kissing Game.
